Microsoft really did something awesome with those surface tables. Any interesting projects you guys have lined up for the tabe? Btw, NetOperator, the tables are supposed to run around $10k USD.

that thing is such a gimick why would you want a huge expensive table to do something a tiny little laptop could do for 100th of the cost ? and yes it should come with linux not vista (vista is the best thing to happen to linux and osx in years .imo) lets just hope windows 7 will follow the trend.

What’s American History X’s Edward Norton doing with a mouse? Trying hold out as long as he can on playing with Surface? :P

Why couldn’t they just take some normal picture of the actual thing instead of trying to be art, it’s really hard to gain the size by these images.

Great photos. It will be good to see what a creative agency can do with this technology. All of the apps I’ve seen so far are pretty awful in terms of user experience and visual design. Have fun!

Oh look, another technology Microsoft ‘borrowed’ from elsewhere. I remember seeing this multiple touch technology on a linux machine a few years ago, then MS shows it off and everyone acts like they invented the thing.

Just another item in MS’s long list of lack of innovation.
