A new way to navigate

With “flickr going gamma”:http://blog.flickr.com/flickrblog/2006/05/alpha_beta_gamm.html and “Yahoo”:http://www.yahoo.com continually updating we’re starting to see a new navigational mechanism emerging. It strikes a balance between standard one click navigation and drop down methods. It allows users to click on the text for quick access to a main section, or click on the down arrow to reveal the subnavigation sections. We really like this element and expect to see a whole lot more of it in the future.
