Apple asks for opinions

Apple survey

In all my years of being an Apple Customer they have never solicited my opinion. I received an email today to participate in a survey.

The survey was about itunes and the Itunes Music Store. Most of the questions were about how satisfied I was with the service, how I listen to music, how often I listen to music etc.

However, one section asked if I knew about the iPhone and if I was likely to buy one. I guess they are trying to see what kind of market share they could have in Canada. Very interesting.

I just read about the launch of their 3rd iteration of the phone (in only 8 months). It’s now at 16GB (up from early adopter launch at 4GB). At this rate, we should be see benefits from our patience and get a pretty advanced product up here.

Do you think they’ll get the share they’re after with RIM’s imminent launch of the 9000 series (competing with iPhone)?
