This Photoshop template makes it easy to mockup pixel-accurate iPhone app designs.
Now in its second iteration, this version of the template has been completely redesigned from the ground up. Based on the recent iOS4, it includes all the elements you need to design proof-of-concepts or production ready assets. This version addresses issues like blurry edged buttons and incorrect “bevels” as best they can be using Photoshop’s shape layers and layer styles. If you’re modifying any of the vector elements, be sure the shapes are sitting on full pixels or your assets will begin to look blurry.
Note that this file is still formatted for 480×320 resolution. The Retina Display version of this file is also available here.

Hi,
When I open the file, I get a message saying that “some text layers contain fonts that are missing”. In fact, the same thing happened with the Metaspark Blog files.
Apple uses Helvetica in the iPhone 3 and Helvetica Neue in the iPhone 4. I do have Helvetica LT Std (21 fonts) and Helvetica Neue LT Std (51 fonts),
bought from Adobe.
I can’t figure out why this is happening. It could be a tiny font naming difference, which could (maybe) be explained if I am opening the files in a different
OS than the OS in which the files were created (I am on Windows 7 with Adobe CS5).
Anyhow, could you please tell me exact variation of the fonts used so I can type my text using the appropriate font?

This is pretty good. I’d suggest unchecking the global light when making the effects (shadows and bevels, etc) for the next release. When you drag a layer into a different psd, it takes the native lighting, which tends to be 120 degrees instead of 90. It’s just a minor inconvenience.

This is great. Just wanted to see if anyone had any quick recommendations on how to make the screen continue the ‘gloss’ that you seen on the black of the Iphone. So it doenst look to fake and the line doesnt just stop on the top and far right of the screen.
