The Air Miles Reward program allows collectors to use their points not just for travel but also for merchandise. 80% of redemptions are for merchandise.
Air Miles wanted to not only redesign their catalog to be more inline with a modern e-commerce site, but also add some new purchase options for collectors. The new designs use much larger images and allow spaces for merchandising rewards. The addition of cash only items and the option to buy certain rewards using a combination of cash and reward miles are new to the program.
We overhauled the catalog from top to bottom. Redesigning everything from the home page of Rewards, to the category and product pages right through check out.
This is the first of many Air Miles projects we've been working on in 2008 and it is the first to go live with the an updated look and feel that will be rolling out to other sections over 2008 and into 2009.
