For many years, classifieds have been the engine of the newspaper business. Since the late ’90s, billions of dollars have disappeared from newspaper classifieds. People have moved online to research and complete their purchases, especially in the automotive category.
CanWest Interactive was looking to improve its online car classifieds site, Driving.ca. We were asked to redesign the user experience of Driving.ca to make it stand out as an outstanding auto classified product.
We spent a lot of time on other auto sites looking for ways to improve the car searching process. We search mechanism on the home page that makes it easier for users to find the make and model they want. Individual listing pages were designed to make comparison easy.
Note: Driving.ca has since been redesigned.
