“3D fish add that extra sparkle”

The 2007 TELUS LG Shine campaign was designed to introduce the new and stylish phone into the market.

In order to introduce the LG Shine as new and exclusive, and foster a reputation of product quality, we created ads that would at the very least get noticed... at the very least as online billboards. Using the goldfish from the current sea critters in market, we created a 300x250 online video ad that was informative and entertaining to watch. Using 3D animated fish and messaging that complimented the offline campaign, the storyline featured a group of fish that stopped in awe to watch the Shine's crystal clear, incredibly clear video display.

The sleek 3D animation gave the product an air of authority and exclusivity; leaving users with the message, “Shine on”. The end frame gave viewers the choice to either view the video again, or be directed to the campaign microsite, where they could learn more, and buy the Shine directly.
