It’s also a constantly evolving digital platform that’s rooted in utility and features carefully curated branded content, interactive benefits and exclusive offers. It’s also where prospective members get to see how much fun everyone else is having with Virgin Mobile.

A multi-channel design challenge
Designing the Members lounge was all about bringing user, system, business and brand needs together into a holistic solution that’s both simple and scaleable. Because accessing the Members Lounge wherever you are is a priority for Virgin Mobile, Teehan+Lax needed to take into account a wide range of software and hardware platforms. Members Lounge lives on Virginmobile.ca, VMC’s Facebook page, and as an App for iOS and Android mobile devices.
Breaking it down
The Virgin Mobile Members Lounge really comes down to two key components. The first is a modular content strategy that allows benefits, offers and promotions to flow across multiple platforms. The second is a user experience design that strikes the right balance between members’ functional needs (self-serve and support) and Virgin Mobile’s branded value-add features and opportunities.
